SCH FM42 108cm / 42″ Towed Petrol Flail Mower

A strong and powerful towed grass cutter with a working width of 1070mm (42″). This unit is ideal for keeping rough grassed areas, pastureland, woodland rides and walks in good condition. Scalping is reduced by a one-piece roller mounted at the back of the cutter. The throttle control and emergency engine stop switch are easily accessible from the tractor seat.

Two ‘V’ belts drive the 36 cutting flails, which are powered by a 9Hp Honda engine with an electric start. The tow bar has two operating positions, one in the machine’s centre and one to one side, where it is preferable not to run on the standing growth before cutting.

Screw jacks make it simple to raise or lower the rear transportation wheels into the transport position. The mower is raised off the ground in the transport position for ease of movement to and from storage.
