SCH FM48 122cm / 48″ Towed Petrol Flail Mower

The FM48 is a long, powerful grass cutter with a working width of 1220mm (48″) for higher horsepower tractors (18HP and up)

The mower is powered by a 13-horsepower Honda petrol engine with electric start. The flails float freely on a chain link to the rotor shaft. The tow bar has two operating positions, one in the machine’s centre and one to one side, where it is preferable not to run on the standing growth before cutting. The tractor seat provides easy access to the throttle control and engine emergency stop safety switch. The transport wheels are located on the machine’s side.

When designing this type of machine, the operator’s safety is a top priority. Guards are installed to prevent the operator’s feet from being accidentally offered to the flail. As standard, an emergency stop cord is included.
A 50mm ball hitch is installed.

Towing behind ATVs and quads is possible. The tow bar can be offset or central to the vehicle being towed.

Diesel power unit is available as an option.
