The Mitox 66 LSH log splitter includes a stand so you can raise the working position of the machine. The 6.5 tonne splitting force can manage logs up to 52cm long and with a diameter of 25cm. An electric log splitter this size is ideal for homeowners to split their own logs for log burners, open fires or bonfires. Safety regulations mean that all horizontal log splitters must now have a guard or safety cage isolating the splitting area from the operator. A wide log cradle will hold the logs in place so you don’t have to hold them whilst split. The two handed operation also keeps your hands away from the splitting area. If you release a switch the splitter will automatically return to the start position. When splitting shorter logs use the Quicksplit function to reduce the ram travel distance and save time.
