Although the robot mower isn’t advanced enough to help out with all household chores (unfortunately!), on the plus side – it can do a very good job of mowing the lawn.
Once you set the robot lawn mower up, it can be released to spend the rest of the day nibbling away at your grass to keep it consistently tidy and even making it unnecessary to mow the lawn manually again. You’ll have more time on your hands to focus on other parts of your garden such as planting, weeding or even just sitting and relaxing in it. You can even leave the machine running when you’re not there. Gone are the days of returning to an unkempt lawn after your holiday – your lawn mower will have worked hard and have the whole plot well in hand.
Whatever your own reason is for wanting one of these automatic lawn mowers, there are several to choose from. They are available for practically any size lawn and budget.
Entry models you might consider are the Robomow RM510 or the Robomow RC304 Automatic Lawn Mower which are both able to maintain lawn up to 400 square metres in size. For the slightly larger garden that might be described as being medium to large, you might want to try the Robomow RC312 Robotic Lawnmower or the Robomow RS612 Robotic Lawnmower, both of which can easily deal with lawns up to 1200 square meters in size. Finally, for the largest of lawns, you might want to take on a Robomow RS630 Robotic Lawnmower which will handle large areas, even those that are sloped and up to ¾ of an acre in size.
Setting up the automatic lawn mower is fairly straightforward; You may need to install a perimeter guide wire so that the mower will know which areas to attend to. Some models can even be controlled with a smart phone.
The mower will also need an area where it can recharge its batteries. Although it can run for weeks at a time, it will need to recharge once in a while.
